My name is JIHyon Kim, call me Selia. I came from Seoul, South Korea around three weeks ago. This is my first semester in Fullerton, CA. I can introduce myself as an active and energetic person. I love to travel all around countries and like to make new friendship with other cultural people. Once I went to Beijing during summer vacation in order to meet my best friend who had studied in Beijing. She introduced me many friends(‘Pungyou’ in Chinese) while staying in dormitory. We talked a lot during the whole night. Next morning, we had husky voices, it is not normal to me, because of so much talking. It is one of my good memories of traveling to China. I went to Baguio, Philippine for one and half month. I travel Singapore, Maldives, and the eastern part of U.S.A including New York City. Thus, I have many foreign friends in Philippines, Singapore, and New York City. I want to become close friends with you here in CSU Fullerton. I like to learn and teach whatever I have learned. I am interested in learning languages. I learned Japanese, Chinese, and German. While I study here in Fullerton, I hope to learn more various languages with your help. I can teach Korean also. Actually, I got the Certificate of Teaching Korean Language from Seoul National University. If you want to learn Korean, welcome always! Let’s be a friend with Multilanguage.
I came here to study real English. After studying in ALP program, I want to be a graduate student of TESOL(Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Master’s program. That’s why I decide to come to U.S. I hope to learn English more professionally.
One of my hobbies is paragliding. I like to fly in the sky even though I don’t have own wings and to experience some adventures like this. It is hard to find good place to go down but only if I find the proper sites, I can enjoy paragliding, feel the wind in upper side, and view the fantastic smaller world than I was in.
